The Gift of Peace

I love the conversations that happen around the Christmas Cheer Kettle.
One giver shared  “I have carried this little card in my wallet for years” and he pulled out a tattered pop out card. On this card it said, “I give you the Gift of Peace” He shared that the card meant the world to him cause on his sobriety coin of ten years was engraved one word.   Guess what it said , simply “PEACE”. he shared his story, and my heart grew two sizes bigger. No coincidence, simply a God moment that reminded me that I can have that Gift of Peace too.
Peace comes in many forms . I’ve grateful that I know the Prince of Peace this Christmas and I too can experience  this gift.
John 14:27
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]
