Moms Are Amazing

Moms are amazing aren’t they?
They kiss boo boos, hug us tightly , cook our favorite foods, tuck us into bed and read us our favorite bedtime story. Do you remember those days?
I have heard moms say since children have been learning on-line from home, they are snack eating machines.
In today’s revolving culture moms have learned to adapt to working from home. Mothers have adapted to zoom meetings and on-line learning while still having time to kiss boo boos.
I remember my children walking gingerly into my bedroom, proudly holding a tray of their breakfast creation on Mother’s Day.  Memory does not allow for how much the toast was burnt or if the coffee had more cream than coffee. Memory does, however, allow for the smiles on my children’s faces knowing that they loved their mom. Anything would be given today to see those smiles once again. I would relish in the smell of burnt toast wafting throughout the house. I would enjoy that Mother’s Day experience all over again even with creamy Coffee!
Breakfast in a Bag is designed to enable Families to come together to celebrate mom by providing a convenient gift that will allow kids to practice their culinary skills. It will help create long lasting memories.  It won’t matter whether the toast is burnt, or the pancakes are not quite cooked – all that matters is that mom is loved, and the children are smiling.
