Before I had my second cup of coffee the conversation began with, “Do you have service here”? While making coffee we chatted about the opportunities to gather for worship on Sundays.
“I really need to have more of the Lord in my life” took me by surprise and it really shouldn’t. Lord forgive me
It caused me to ponder about the true needs in my life. And Yes, I need food security, financial stability, family health and wellbeing….but deep down I need to have more of the Lord in my life. I need to long for Him as He gives His deep love for me. I need to experience the fullness of His love and experience more outrageous joy.
As I worshipped on Sunday my heart was reminded that….
I have a MakerHe formed my heartBefore even time beganMy life was in His hands
He knows my nameHe knows my every thoughtHe sees each tear that fallsAnd hears me when I call
I long that everyone should have more of the Lord in their lives.
….I know that I should never underestimate the power of a cupcake !
